I did think it was sweet that The Doctor was mourning River--and they'd apparently spent 24 years together! And that he'd glued Nadoo's (sp?) head back on for some company, but I was underwhelmed by the superhero story line. Ah, well, soon we'll have a new companion and lots of the Doctor!
