But it must have held some purpose before men arrived. And women...! People! Before people arrived! *g*
I couldn't believe that Madam was getting away with running these classes. She's making a bit deal about it being all about mental health during lockdown - but in that case why can't other people do the mental-health things that they like doing? Going to the pub to meet their friends, having their grandchildren over at the weekend, going to book club or metal detecting club or whatever it might be? She's found an excuse to what she wants to do... I find it even more frustrating in this case because when she opened her space she kept claiming that it was "for the community" and "for the village", and so on. What she's written on her door says it all though - "Money can't buy happiness, but it can support local business and that's almost the same thing". For you it is! For other people happiness is not risking the lives of their grandparents or parents, or friends or family! And has she ever taken part in any volunteer community event? There've been loads, and she never has, not once - even as simple as putting things in the window... /rant. Sorry. *g*
