Yes and yes and yes! *g*

So, if you've been on my flist for ages, you might remember that I posted once asking if anyone remembered a British black and white science fiction series from the sixties-ish, written by a woman, featuring puppet characters like the Martians, and Venusians, and Gabbledictums. Because my Mum was sure that she remembered it from way, way back and she always quoted it back to me as the only science fiction she could ever stand (usually when I was desperate to watch Doctor Who or summat and she'd decided I'd been too naughty...) Anyway, so she could never remember the title, and whenever I asked people, suggestions were generally in the Gerry Anderson range but she was sure it wasn't one of his series that she was remembering. A woman creator she said.

And I have finally, after mumble-many years of scouring every science-fiction-y archive and brain I came across, found it.
Space Patrol - created by Roberta Leigh for the Associated British Corporation!

Ooh, and of course there's YouTube, now that I know the name of it! *g*

I found it! I'm gob-smacked! So... tell me about Blu-Ray... I have to have a special thingie to play a Blu-Ray disc, right? Cos the dvd's apparently been and gone earlier this year and is now selling for a scrandillion pounds and dollars and all, but it'll be out on Blu-Ray next week, and I need to be able to send my Mum a copy!

Found it! Wheeee! *g* So - did anyone else ever see it, then? *vbg*

Hold Your Breath, Sunshine

A ship is safe in the harbour - but that's not what ships are for.

Should've.
Would've.
Didn't. Didn't. Didn't.
