Day Three - Run! Run for your life!

Just in case I can't post later - our holiday cottage doesn't officially have internet - here I am now, because we did something this morning - something I never would have imagined doing...

We wandered along a Cornish lane or two...


...and we went to watch the handover of the Olympic Torch!

There was, of course, an awful lot of standing around, and then the torch arrived in a lamp - and in a bus! - but I'm rather chuffed with the pic where the sun was in just the right place to blaze down and look impressive! (I only had my phone camera for various reasons, and I was doing the thing where you hold it up high so you can't see what you're taking the pic of, and I thought I'd probably missed completely, but... I didn't! And I got blaze of sun! *g* And actually in the one where she's set of running you can see the flame itself against the hedge! Wheee!
