So... I hear it's Friday... I'm still not entirely sure where or when I am, this is very odd!

According to my funky new desk calendar though, today was brought to us by the Celsus Library in Ephesus!
celsus
It is one of the 1000 places I must apparently see before I die (that are included in the 365 days of this year, anyway... *g*) but I'm quite chuffed that I can actually cross it off my list. Been there, done that, took the photos, left them in the photo album in my storage unit... (so the above is just internet findings...)

On the bright side - I have my car back, and fixed, and safe to drive again! I have a couple of sticks of furniture that will hopefully give me more space in my pit room (once they've been turned from sticks into furniture, via screwdrivers and allen keys...) I have started my tax return (although I forgot my password, so now I have to wait until enough time has passed that I can try again with a new one...). I have done some laundry. I have tidied away the odd pile of paper... And lj is back! *hugs lj* It was very odd, knowing you were all out there somewhere, and not being able to rabbit on to you... *g*

But I have a zillion emails to catch up on - sorry if yours is one of them - and 4/4 jobs to be getting on with again (next week, if not now...), the prospect of which fills me with a vague sense of dread in many ways. And mostly I want to go away! Somewhere exciting and exotic and full of happy adventures... yes I know, that's what most people call a holiday, and I've just had one, but... more than that... I want to travel... It's been sooooo long since I did...

And I want to write those stories, which have been niggling at me whilst I couldn't concentrate on them... Bodie's clearly going to be putting away the fairy lights at this rate...

Hmmn - but since I certainly can't right now, maybe what I should do is open a bottle of wine, and possibly the first two seasons of Sherlock that I bought in car-celebration (and in preparation), and just... do Friday night.

What're you up to, this first Friday of 2013...? *g*
