Icon Posting Project - Day 3

Day Three! I've even managed to finish work on time, despite being up rather late after last night, with a nasty headache... luckily gone by late afternoon. And after today's nasty news in politics, I could do with some cheer, so...


My third-ever icon! Which I again remember making way back when I was in Alaska, sitting at the desk in my cabin, warmed by the glow of discovering fandom while snow fell gently to the ground outside... Well okay, but I remember the fandom bit vividly! *vbg*

I found this picture on the Geocities Pros site (long gone now, sadly), and just fell in love with it. I love the colour and the texture of it, and how it looks like a young Doyle, but so serious... there's a story there... And actually if I think about it, it might even be a story that I started writing way back then too - Strange as Angels, it's called, and it's sitting in my wip folder still... Title inspired by a conversation with paris7am and shooting2kill, if I recall correctly... *g*

Hmmn, I wonder if I have the full picture somewhere still... Yes! Hmmn, there's not much more of it, and it's obviously been taken from an article somewhere - I don't suppose anyone knows the article? Or the pic? It looks familiar to me, but that might just be because of the icon! *g*


(So much for my icons all being 100x100 - these seem to be getting bigger and bigger!)
