Friday 22 02 2021 - Yeay Friday!

Work today led me to an academic article entitled "Runnning is my boyfriend", which seems to be suggesting pretty much what it says - that we have relationships with activities as well as people. I reckon we could have told them that - Pros fandom is my long-term, live-in boyfriend... *vbg*




On the bright side, I'm taking Monday off, so yeay, long weekend!

On the less bright side - sicky-headache again! There has been sneaky lactose somewhere there shouldn't have been, because I've been sooo careful... On the bright side I've had it since this morning, which means it should vanish sometime in the next few hours. Unless I ate whatever-it-was again, of course... No! It will dissipate when I'm in bed! Which means I'm off to bed now... *g*

Saturday 23rd January 2021 - Le Weekend!

Tomorrow I am promised snow, but today the world began with mist and a touch of ice and frost again. *g* I watched out my window as the trees kept appearing and disappearing in the mist, and then it began to lift...


Then the sun came out, and it was like being on holiday all of a sudden! More ice bubbles than you usually see on holiday, but so fresh and pretty.

And there are snowdrops along the river!

ETA - and here's what it looks like just before midnight tonight. A halo around the moon! Google tells me that a halo around the moon means that snow is coming! Or rain... Hmmn!
