Lj stuff again and a bit of soothing Manx

This isn't the post I started this morning, but two other things have cropped up first!

First of all - I've very interestingly just had an email from lj saying that as some people had recently had problems making payments, they were going to extend everyone's professional-level accounts by three months. If it's a genuine email, it would seem to suggest that lj isn't planning on going anywhere - on their side, anyway. Crossing fingers for that...

Because I have no fight with ordinary Russian people, any more than I have with ordinary American people or English people or any people on the basis of their government's politics. Unless I have credible evidence that lj is being run/directly used for propaganda by the actual government that's behaving appallingly, I don't feel the need to move. *hugs lj, which is hands-down the best social media platform I know* I'm backed up just in case, but I'm very much hoping there's no case.

Secondly - thank you curiouswombat for introducing me to this very beautiful music! Well, I've heard Manx music before of course (my mum's family is Manx), but this is extra gorgeous.
