Unfortunately, Bodie - my Bodie, I mean (pictures here, here, and here, in case you're interested - proud mom! *g*) - has a very hard head.
Oh lovely - yes, I was interested! Used to ride a bit when I was growing up in Australia, although only in the way you do when your friends have horses and you don't. I quite fancied it again when I was in the UK just now, but it didn't happen for various reasons. I'm ever hopeful it may yet! We'll see. Loved the saga of Oz and Griggs and Bodie too - although I kept relating Bodie to Murphy and... well, you can guess the other two perhaps?! Hope they're all now still good mates.

he's called Bodie because his real name was Regall - "I was such regal-looking baby" - of course I had to give him Bodie as his barn name!
Genius, pure genius.

no one here knows who Bodie is, of course, so it gives me a little secret fannish thrill whenever I say his name ... a mildly subversive way of bringing fandom into other parts of life
lol - I think that's exactly how I'd feel about it. Maybe I should get a dog or two..!
