Hmmn - a female equivalent of The Godfather... Well godmother makes me think of fairy godmothers, like the one in Cinderella that helps Cinders get to the ball, so maybe not that... *g* I guess the Godfather is a patriarch, and so a female equivalent would be a matriarch - and in Italy often is, so I hear! Then again - isn't it women who are really in control in most families..? *g*
