Are missing scenes third-degree canon? Pretty please?

Cos I so want them to be after reading these originally scripted but never-filmed ones:
From The Gun:
INT. BODIE'S CAR. DOYLE beside him.
BODIE - How have you been managing without your motor?
DOYLE produces half a dozen car keys.
DOYLE - It's amazing how many people leave the keys in their cars...
*dies of love*
And then from Killer With a Long Arm:
Ext: Doyle's flat
Bodie knocks on his partner's flat door
BODIE: Mornin' Doyle - let me in. Big news.
DOYLE: You, Bodie (keeps the chain firmly on the door) can wait three minutes. Then I'll be out.
BODIE: Is this the way to treat a pal?
DOYLE: It is when there's a Betty involved.
BODIE: (trying to peer around the door) You don't have - in there?
DOYLE: You wouldn't know, would you, Bodie? Or are they all Betty's [sic] to you?
BODIE: They had a way of treating people like you in the jungle. Stake 'em out with a trickle of honey up their legs, and...
DOYLE: Yeah, I've heard all about those ants in your pants. Now let me say a sweet good-bye and I'll be with you (closes door).
Emerging Doyle wiped his mouth very ostentatiously and smirked. That convinced Bodie that Doyle had been along in the apartment - hadn't he?
Of course in my head it ends after Bodie says "trickle of honey up their legs, and..." *vbg

Date: Saturday, 9 May 2009 09:43 pm (UTC)There's argument about what was scripted and what was ad-lib: Brian Clemens says that every word they spoke was scripted, MS and LC say that they often ad-libbed, and not only was it not necessarily picked up on, but those were the scenes where they were complimented on their acting. So... I know who I believe (since BC was rarely on set, and has said alot of obnoxious things about MS and LC), but unless someone with the scripts matches them to the actual eps and comes forward to tell us, I don't suppose we'll know for sure... The scripts are out there though - every now and then one comes up for sale on ebay, for horrendous amounts of money, of course...

Date: Saturday, 9 May 2009 09:24 pm (UTC)I love Bodie's 'motor' (is that the word they usually use?)
And any scenes involving visiting each other's flats are interesting.
