Greetings from the USA (smile!):

I discovered slash in a closet - literally! This was in
the home of a now deceased friend.

These treasures were the typed stories - this was long
before the internet, mailing lists and Live-journals.

These were the days of gathering in private homes, or in the room of a fellow fen at conventions, when copies of stories were passed out.

It was at one of these fan conventions - forgive me, I forgot the name of it but it was held in Chicago and it
was my first slash convention. Anyway, I was introduced to PROS via the episodes.

Some time passed before I saw them again. I live in Southern California I went to the gatherings at the home of the late Lily Fulford. This was in the days of VHS, both American and British cut, and she had them. I had forgotten the characters names so I joined her and watched all the episodes.

I was hooked. I have the DVDs; I read, and write, fan fiction - some of which have been published in fanzines.

I have not written anything in some time. Read Life has really been a pain; however, I am trying to get back there.
