I got to watch the first few minutes for the Pros opening-titles spoof and MS being introduced and talking about Pros. But then I had to cook tea, as the others were out and due back for food any time.
TBH any TV prog with sofas and a couple of presenters puts my teeth on edge, and that woman was so annoying. She kept interrupting MS when he was about to say something more interesting (she cut him off about "the hair" and how *she'd* grown up with Pros (whatever that means when it wasn't on TV for ages)). he also seems adorably bewildered by how popular it is Yes! wasn't he endearingly modest!
Went back to the kitchen reflecting happily on how there can't be many actors who are the main guest on such a programme to promote a theatre tour, not just a new BBC series.
Weird too, as Pros was on ITV. In years gone by I should think mentioning it on BBC premises was grounds for dismissal, LOL.
Was there more Pros chat later?
Portmeirion is just wonderful, isn't it? When I first arrived there I thought it was garish, but my vision sort of adjusted within an hour or two and I fell in love with the place. Snowdonia again! was just watching a programme about people who are mad about their cats. The only half sane one was a lady who'd moved to Snowdonia to keep about 80 rescued Bengali cats - woman after my own heart.
