And yep - I think you might well have seen the supernova - that's the right bit of sky anyway, as far as I can work out... if the blooming clouds ever go away I might get to squint at it too!
There's some good meteor showers coming up in October too btw. There one tonight I think, but I don't think conditions are favourable (pretending I know what I'm talking about!)- cross the fingers for October!
