I had the opposite experience recently - was at parent-teacher meeting with Hugh (in the daytime) and the teacher told us to go and find Mr P and he would give us the relevant piece of paper about GCSE options... So we trundled down to Mr P's room which rather alarmingly said 'Deputy Head' on the door. He called 'come in', so we did, but he was in a meeting with a person who was presumably Busy and had stuff to get on with, but he insisted on talking to us about these flippin' options, and I was wishing he wouldn't because he was wasting his guest's valuable time, she must have had an appointment and we didn't...
