Oh, I loved the Famous Five books, and in fact I'm sort of still re-reading them, if you count writing Two on a Treasure Island, and having 50,000 words of the sequel (Two Go Adventuring Again) written. There was much re-reading for both of them! *g*

I went through a James Herbert phase years ago too, and enjoyed him, but that was a long time ago... not sure I'd re-read them, cos horror isn't a favourite genre of mine, but it may come again as a phase one day!
