Good for you, that you taught the kids something. I hope, it made an impression on at least some of them. So strange, that the parents don't seem to care much, but then, they may not be nice to animals, either. :(
Did it seem like the woman you are sure you knew well, once, recognized you too, and there just wasn't time to talk right then?
I'm unfortunately so bad at face recognition, that it's always other people, who recognize me, and I often feel embarrassed, when I don't immediately remember their names, or where I know them from.
I've tried hard to change this, but don't think I can.
