After I'd written this, I had a quick glance at your blog to see if I could find your review, but couldn't. I hate to say that it makes sense that a bloke wrote it with all the diy detail, but I guess it does... though I suppose as I read I was thinking that it was a woman showing off how much she knew about it... Alison's behaviour in general seemed to be more understandable from the pov of it being written by a man, though... though really it shouldn't, and I can't think of any one thing, just... overall.

I'm not sorry I read it, though! *g*
