Oh nooooo - wallet is bad and fiddly and inconvenient cos of everything in it, but oh, it wasn't £300 though... I'm so sorry to hear that... That aside, it really is the kicking yourself and beating yourself up that's awful, you're right... I will stop it any minute now...!

I'm hoping that I can go to the bank on Monday and they'll let me show ID and withdraw money - though of course my photo-driver's-licence was in my wallet...*headdesk* - and there's another £20 right there for a replacement...). When I cancelled my cards they both reckoned I should have new ones before Christmas itself, so that'll be something - and my cupboards are reasonably full, though I could really have done with a bottle of wine right now... Hmmn, come to think of it, I bought tonic the other day, and there's a bit of gin left... and limes... And there is the tiny hope that perhaps they'll still find the wallet, minus the cash, but otherwise reasonably intact... I hope you've had good things since you bank card was gone...
