I suppose it's all about people really, whether their focus is on religion or whatever else they might believe in. Why - what gets them (us!) there...? I thought The Poisonwood Bible was beautifully written though, so that I felt for everyone there, and for the Congo most of all... I was very surprised though that out of 10 of us at bookclub, only 4 liked it!
