Eco bulbs may be good for the planet but they're rubbish for me Whether they're eco or not doesn't affect the type of light coming from them compared to actual daylight though - you'd need proper "daylight" bulbs anyway. (Didn't know you could get them in sewing shops though - gardening shops, I'd assume...)
Not sure whether to hope your tendency to SAD is responsible for cottonwool brain and lethargy or not - I've had cottonwool brain and general lethargy for years now without a specific affliction... *headdesk*
