Doctor Who... It's a bit good, innit? I sat myself down tonight (well okay, sprawled myself where I could) and the theme tune came on, and the time vortex tunnell-y thing, and I thought
this is a bit good, just like being a kid again, and then the music got to that point - you know the bit, where it kicks in - and I just thought
yes! Cos really... yes. *g*
Plus, having actually been listening to Radio 4 the other week, I now know that the DW theme was basically created by a woman -
Delia Derbyshire - even
better! It just
is. I'm tired of being told that real SF is the domain of blokes.
And then the ep was just jolly good as well, wasn't it? And this Doctor is a bit shout-y, which makes me think of William Hartnell's Doctor (I'm sure "real" DW fans will put me right, if necessary... *g*) and I like the idea that there's a bit of regeneration-consistency to him as well... and grumpiness. I like that he had his moments. *g*
Anyway... how about the Doctor then?! Just yeay! *vbg*
