Sunday night in Ireland

It's Monday morning (what bliss not to be at work!) and I'm having a last few minutes on the wifi before I head out - please have some more pics! *g*
Hello, Eire! *g*
Although I did momentarily confuse my satnav, which had been in England, far over the sea, last time it checked, and knew deep-down that it couldn't swim... *g*

...but made it to my B&B in Duncannon, Wexford, with only minor discombobulation. (Kilometres? Forgot about that! Bugger, what's 80km in miles... why can't I see km on my milometer? What eejit decided to paint the km in red? What are the broken yellow lines on the side of the road for, that some people use for overtaking and some people use for stopping?! Why is everyone driving so slowly...? *g*) And the wind was still high!
Had a lovely blustery wander around, sea air blowing out the cobwebs (or at least coating them with a solid rime of salt *g*) Down to the harbour first.

Then along to the beach, where I was further discombobulated (my word of the day,
thank you
dawnebeth!) by people using it to drive on, like a road...
but luckily not enough that you couldn't wander safely and fairly pleasantly around.

Had fish and chips sitting on a rock in the gorgeous blow, with the dog from the B&B looking mournfully at me (does he just wander the beach looking for suckers his B&B guests, I wonder, or was this a special occasion cos I'd said hello to him when I arrived?! And yeah, okay, I gave in a little bit at the end... *g*)
Duncannon Fort is just across the road from where I'm staying, but guided tours don't start until noon, so I'll be long gone (I'm hoping for a lighthouse and a ruined abbey before I head for the Blarney Stone and ultimately Killarney, today).
Time to check out now - but hopefully I'll be back soon.... *vbg* Happy Monday!
