Day Fifteen Happy

Just before I do the happy thing - of course the waters could be muddied even further regarding work... I emailed to check on the discrepancy between what I was originally given as an end date (end Feb) and the latest version (start Feb), just in case we'd got our wires crossed - and this time they said they might want some part-time housekeeping/school runs help in Feb/March. Gaaaah! They said they were happy to be flexible, and of course I can absolutely say "no", but I rather suspect this is going to weaken any potential suggestion of free rent/storage in return for being mucked about. *sighs*

Meanwhile, there's what looks like a potentially nice wee nannying job back near my part of the Somerset world - but not with accommodation, and not paying enough to cover rent, unless it was short hours that would allow for some tutoring or something... argh. I might phone to enquire anyway...

Okay, so today I went into town to do a couple of chores, and found myself detouring to Stowe on the way home, for a quick wander. That was nice. *g*

And it was apple day! They were pressing juice right there, and it was delicious - that was a definite happy!



Also, it's thinking about being autumn, and was feeling rather pretty...
