Was there just a weekend? I have a feeling I completely missed it somehow! I know it was scheduled... Well, I supposed that's not entirely fair, because I've been pottering at sorting out, and I went to see my aunt and uncle and cousin and cousin-in-law for dinner yesterday (I got to play Scrabble for the first time in years - I love Scrabble (well, the whole family does) but I never get to play, so yeay *g*)

Today I had three things that I wanted to achieve: finish a present I'm making for mum; make templates of my furniture to take down to Somerset next weekend; go for a run. I accomplished... the run. Which is good, but I just know that time is going to do that nasty spring-back-elastic thing it does in the next three weeks, and the other two things really needed to be done already. Ack!

I did see a very cool moon on the way home last night though - a giant half moon, just hanging over everyone - and as it set it turned a gorgeous bronze-orange, and slid slowly down until just the top horn was visible, before it disappeared. These pics don't even start to do it justice, but hopefully you can see there was something a bit different about it...

I'm off down to Somerset next weekend to try and work out how to fit my stuff into the new teeny-weeny place (hence the paper templates), but it's also been turned into an extra-happy now, because my long-suffering friend who's putting me up for the night has found not only a Christmas tree lighting-up with singing for us to go to, but also a Christmas market for the Sunday before I go home, so yeay for managing a few Christmas-y things after all, too!

So there has actually been happy weekend stuff... Now if I can just work out what I'm going to do for my own Discovered in a Bleak Midwinter posts, and ProsFandom Cards, on top of all the packing and Christmas and stuff, then I'll feel caught-up!

Hope your weekend's been good...
