ProsWaaaaatch!

Oh, more beautiful photography to start with, and the sound of the train, and the wariness of the cat - fab stuff... Erk - cut to fighting kids (waaaah!) And sad kids... poor old Stone kids...

And there's Jack Stone up in the roof... Ah, he's going to phone... Doyle! You know, Doyle's name crops up with various people, doesn't it - chappy had it in his address book in Takeaway, and... well okay, twice, twice it crops up... At least. *g*

Sleepy Doyle! Love that he's not all alert and alive as soon as he wakes up... His watch seems to think it's about half eight in the morning, for all he reckons it's before dawn...

...and ooh, is he wearing boxers under his trackies? And what's he got on his dressing table there - Record... books, other stuff... And he has to shake Bodie out of whatever bed he's in... No wonder he's grumpy, it's this whole cover thing... *g*

Ah - speaking of Bodie, there he is, all energetic with the dawn chorus... And Doyle right behind him. Love the woman in the house... and they hold the barbed wire down for each other.

The lads are working together here... Bodie passes Doyle his tea... awww...

Doyle being all tough with Stone... and heee - "no milk or sugar thanks love" he says to Chrissy. Ooh - "Not in families like ours," says Jack, and then "You know that," with a nod to Doyle. Very much a You understand thing going on with Doyle this ep, I think - and he does...

Hee - had to include this cap, cos doesn't it look exactly like they bowler hats are about to break into a dance routine?! *g*

Cowley at another memorial service - Doyle making bad taste jokes... trying to convince Cowley to spare him to help Stone... Ha - "No big teams wrecking my budget" says Cowley! Canon budget-worries there! Love the expression on Doyle's face there - so indulgent, reminds me of the way he looked at Marge Harper! *g*

Oh, and lovely London... No, really, it's London I'm looking at there... *g*

Hee - they have very dolly school teachers in the early eighties apparently! *g* Oh bless, Bodie's argument is "Doyle's in a fix...", and Liz says "Oh I might have known he'd be in on this..." in disgust... Bodie looking very I knew you wouldn't understand, though he teases her into it anyway, and we get a rare but adorable Bodie-smile...

Yeay, Bodie as PE teacher! Fairly adorable! He looks sort of bemused by the lads, doesn't he! And nice tracksuit... all soft... *g*

Eek - the boys have gone! Run Bodie! And he does...

Heee - Bodie being a sweetheart with the two boys... Just... awwww Do we reckon he knew exactly how the lads felt, being told off like that after giving their mum a fright?!

Murphy looking bored on stakeout...

Liz is 9.1... Bodie's all concerned...

Ah, Doyle in high-tech CI5 office? Very posh it's looking... He's sent off to the Isle of Wight - "nice day out for you" He's looking all soft in that tweed jacket and heathery colours too...

Ah - Doyle was in Limehouse, or at least "he did a bit down there"...

Bodie in the high-tech CI5 headquarters... *g* All chuffed at the handwriting analysis - and he already has put it through the computer!

Doyle back at prison - all quiet and friendly with the next bloke... hee - Doyle left his stick back at base... *g*

Bodie asking about Doyle as he wanders through the garage with Cowley - CI5 garage? Hee - love Bodie's wince at the engine, "Sounds a bit rough, dunnit?"

Murphy smoking away... and then another agent on watch... although not really, cos he missed the one thing that does happen... stands staring at it for a while - oh, he's 9.3!

Hee - Doyle giving him hell over the RT for letting Chrissy get away...

Bodie racing to Doyle's side - finally together again... Doyle's all grumpy - although he's glad Chrissy was wearing her "belt" - oh, but he's mad, he wants the "mad bastard"...

Ah, Bodie the taxi driver - being a sweetie with the kids again too...

...Liz Spalding inside and safe... Murphy back on duty - ha, very laid back "So I hear..." *g*

I love how Cowley gets phone calls at everyone else's houses and offices! Imagine it, a time before mobile phones...

Doyle on the phone - yeay, Bodie back with him again, standing right behind him, looking concerned...

I wonder if security blokes these days are as interested in family photos...

Doyle... and yeay, Bodie! Drinking cokes - ah, remember pulling the tabs right off? Remember in summer, when the ground used to be covered in discarded ring-pulls, sort of melted into the concrete? *g*

Doyle recognised by someone else! "A local hood, is he?" asks Bodie...

They're working together again at least, but... they seem more and less together somehow...

Hee - Bodie at the allotments, chatting up the locals... oh, and there's Doyle in the background doing the same. He's wearing that white jacket again... Actually I think its a different one, it's a bit better fitting than the other one... Bodie's gone back to being dapper like he was in the first season...

Ah, together at the car window... Doyle reads The Guardian, and "You'll do for me," says Bodie... *vbg*

Working together to search the tenth floor flat, Bodie keeping guard... love that they're talking to each other through the job... Doyle's found rat poison, Bodie reckons they might use the lifts... *g*

Oh my - Cowley on the phone waving his hand to have his tea passed to him! Grrr!

Ah, 9.3 doing a better job tonight... Doyle in the car running the op by the sounds... Murphy in the bushes... Or maybe not, 9.3 yawning away! Bodie in the bushes too...

Doyle... also bored, checking with Rod...

Yawn-y Bodie... *g*

A-ha - it's all go! Liz manages to wound the bloke, Bodie nearly catches him...

There's Doyle!

Gorgeous night shots, though we can't see the lads enough... It's all very hectic and frantic though...

Ah, the sleepy lads together on the garden wall... and yes, Bodie defends Doyle to Cowley, reminding Cowley that it was Murphy who let Jack Stone get away! Ha and ha and ha! to the whole B/M conspiracy-thingie! *g* B/D for evah! *vbg*

And hee - Bodie wonders if Doyle's going soft in the head, helping the family...

...only Bodie's just as soft, letting Jack Stone say goodbye...

Oh - the way they look at each other as Jack and Chrissy say goodbye... If that's not a I couldn't lose you like that look then I dunno what is...

Awwww...

I don't mind this one. I want our lads together more, but I like the sentiments behind it all - the lads' sympathy for people, seeing them being kind as well as tough, you know? Being reminded that they're blokes, not shiny superheroes...
