Yeay Wednesday and Cuckoo Waltz

Have I mentioned how much I love Cuckoo Waltz? Not just our LC (who is fairly gorgeous in it) but the whole sort of... gentle seventies comedy thing - you know, where they're being so naughty, hinting at things... And it's set in Manchester! In Chorlton-cum-Hardy! And their house! I've lived in houses just like that! In Chorlton-cum-Hardy! And it's just so... well, you couldn't say half the things they say any more (and just as well too - gargh!) But it's just so very cosy-at-home, you know? Heeee - Gavin's got wind in the willows... *g* Wait, is John Bright in Albert Square?
I wonder if I did ever see it when I was a kid? Mind you, 1975 - we'd only just got telly, I think. A couple of years later it set on fire, and me dad had to rush out of the house with it in his arms to save the house. Well, so I was told when I was eight. *g*
Ha - Gavin has just been described as "the thin wiry type"! *vbg* Oh, his little face... it's all so clear! Oh, and how long has it been since I heard "Golly, golly, gumdrops"
Oh, and an MS update too - I made a recipe from the cookbook! It was the one that starts off as spaghetti bolognese, but turns into chili non carne and cocount curry if you want it to... Which I did. Had the chili non carne tonight, which was very nice except that I'm still not sure about soya substitutes for meat. Think I'd rather stick to the veggies next time. *g* Coconut curry up tomorrow night though, and that smelled gorgeous when I was cooking that bit... *g*
Okay, telly is definitely getting better - I just turned dvd off, and there were two men naked in bed together. Something called The Street? Looked pretty good actually, but I must go to bed soon! I'm just gonna get a couple of our-Lew-in-Cuckoo-Waltz caps... *g*
