Pros-y Travelblog - Day Four - Sunday

Up and awake and alert - eventually *g* - and downstairs in time for the dealer's room, where there were zines and art and books from Wayward Press, and jewellery and circuit stories galore! And I was very good and restrained but I did indulge in some art and... well, it wasn't a case of indulging in the circuit stories, because as with many Pros fans the "seller" wasn't in fact selling them, she was giving them away for free, on condition that when people were finished with them they passed them on further for free as well. Pros is about sharing! *vbg*
And then... then, because it was Sunday (*sniffs*) it was time for
kiwisue and I to go - and we were off on the road to Wales!

And then there we were...

...at
jaycat92's gorgeous old house, meeting her gorgeous people, eating real food again (the most delish veggie moussaka - bliss!), and then, wonderful woman that she is, watching George Gently! And excuse the pic above - that's the view from the back window, and it's a bad stitch-together, but it's the first one I've attempted, so... *g*
And how fab was George Gently last night? Well... not as fab as last week, but really only because it was so strangely similar! I don't know why they did that - it was almost the same plot, and the same device for the ending, which I adored last week, made me blink this week... Were they trying to emphasise the fact that there was capital punishment in England back in 1964? Was that why there was going to be a long gap between showing the first and last two GGs of this season? Are these plots actually straight from the books? Who knows...? But it was fun to watch with fans anyway!
And then there was much watching of old Pros-y clips and programmes and shows on the computer. And then bed!
