Rescuing Someone in Spain...

But that said - I've never been to Spain, so tricky! P&O ferries aren't taking passenger bookings until Wednesday, I suspect the car hire firms are flooded out and/or have hoiked price right up, and apparently the Royal Navy may be On The Way! *g*
Mostly I'm just amused (I know it's a tricky situation, but it's mostly just inconvenient) and a bit puzzled. Any advice from my Spain-travelling flist?! Any sneaky ways of escape that the rest of the masses might not know? *g*
