I really really hate being poorly, and I especially hate being poorly with poorly teeth, and I especially hate being poorly with a tooth that was knocking along just fine, and okay a little achey now and then but it always had been, and I'd not taken my sensitive-teeth stuff away with me the other long weekend, so surely-it-was-just-a-bit-achey-cos-of-that and then just... bam, out of the blue (well, out of all that), this afternoon, huge big enormous ouch. And a dental receptionist who wouldn't say anything except she can squeeze you in tomorrow at 1.20, and a doctor's surgery that's closed, and the out-of-hours line not open, but thank goodness for partner-surgery that did squeeze me in, even if I had to wait an hour and a half in the waiting room, and... and... and... antibiotics and super painkillers... ohthankgoodness...

I can't even take tomorrow off properly for a good sulk, cos I have a physio appointment (hey, it's the anniversary of stoopid-white-van-guy destroying my car and having a good go at my neck tomorrow!) and there's no point not going in first thing cos I'll just have to battle for a parking space if I wait until then, and... oh, just headdesk (but gently, cos ow).

Right.

*deep breath*

And I'm supposed to be on a course the day after tomorrow that requires calm... and I was going to do my tax-register thing tonight, and... and... arrange to collect more stuff from cousin's house in the IOM (I'll only have one batch left after that - in Alaska...) and... and... and do my Larton post, and...

And this is so not the worst thing in the world, and in the light of much worse things I really shouldn't be whinging, so sorry about that. Sometimes it's kind of helpful to say things out loud, and I'm sure I'll feel better and less whingy anon, and thank you for letting me whinge out loud on your flist...

Even if Torchwood is on tonight... eep! Although I liked the new Doctor Who much more than I thought I would, very much in fact. I might even look forward to this week's again...

Finally - I should shush moaning because I just looked out the window and caught a glimpse of...

Also I'm presuming the painkillers etc have just kicked in, cos now my tooth aches in a do-able kind of way, although oddly enough my entire jaw is gently but generally aching now too. Weird...
