It's dark! It's dark at 8.30pm, how did that happen?

On the bright side, I seem to be feeling a bit perkier today, so that's a good sign. Still not right, though I probably could go to work tomorrow, cos even if I drooped around all day it's unlikely to matter... but on the other hand, since it's unlikely to matter, perhaps I should cosset my still-mildly-wretchedness and wait another day? Oh, I don't know - what would you do? I finally have a dentist's appointment on Wednesday, which I'd probably go into work late from (though I could stay late, too...) Hmmn.... /wibble!

Being at home sick is not generally much fun, but on the bright side I got to watch Pros on ITV4 - Slush Fund it was today, such bright and sharp colours, too!

Oh, and I just about managed to stay awake for George Gently last night too - I'm mostly blaming the drugs, but just a little bit I'm blaming the fact that they seem to have lost Gently and Bacchus, which was one of the joys of it for me. They were both people, both individuals, and it was about them as well as the case they were solving - last night was really just about the case, despite the wee shoe-horning in of Bacchus' "promise"... I want the characters back! This is why I stop watching a series, when they lose the characters... (though, granted, I've persevered with TW, though to no great avail - I've forgotten again what happened last Thursday... again I could blame drugs and pain, but I've forgotten most week's stories so far, so... *sighs sadly*) Doctor Who was a bit ace though, wasn't it! Need to watch next week's - but will be away, ack! This is where I desperately miss video recorders, though I suppose I might just be home in time to catch it on iPlayer....

Anyway... this is just a bit of a rabbit really, isn't it... Maybe I'd better post a Pros-y picture to make it worth while being here... *g*
