First Snow!

Okay, it's melting practically before it touches the ground, and it's more mucky and wet than anything else, but from my window at work where I can't actually see the ground unless I make a real effort and stand up, it's snowing! Swirls of white snow - which didn't come out on my camera phone at all... *g*

...well, unless I get off my desk-spread bottom and go out into the world... *g*

It's staying in the odd chilly bits... Yeay! I don't suppose for long, but it's pretty and cheerful for a sleepy Friday at work, when there's too much I'm supposed to be doing. And snow sort of brings people together over here too - mostly in grumps and groans, admittedly, but at least together! Suddenly everyone's got something to say, in a way that they don't have if it's just another ordinary day, because we can all see the snow! One person came past my desk today with a big grin on her face and stopped to say Yeay, it's snowing! and we had a brief mutual squee, which was even nicer... *g*

What about you - has anyone else got snow? Has anyone got proper snow? *g*
