I am absolutely gobsmacked that there are people who didn't like tonight's Doctor Who... I mean... really? I know there are people who don't like anything (especially anything RTD these days), but... still... I thought it was a cracking story...
Doctor who (hah!) must leave time alone cos of the certain fixed points? Yes! Doctor who can't leave time alone, despite the certain fixed points? Yes! Resulting Bad Doctor? Yes! and yes and yes! Resulting Somewhat Fearful Doctor? Yes! Ooh, looking forward to Christmas! *g*
I'll grant you that we had a few too many dramatic newspaper articles from the year 2059, I think we did get that after the first couple... but... other than that I thought it was brill. The voices over the intercomms... oooh, and the German girl... ohhh and yes for a genuinely Aussie space station hero, and ooooh for Adelaide making it come true anyway, and reminding the Doctor that for all he's a Time Lord he's also... a person... (Okay, not human, but... a decent jolly bloke anyway... You know, not a Sontaran or a Cybermat or anything... *g*) And ohhhhhhh for The Bad Doctor because I can totally see where he's getting that from, and I sooooo wanted him to meet Jack in the preview for the Christmas Special, but I suppose that really was wishful thinking... *g* They could have been all ace and dark together though, couldn't they, and in a funky twist the Master could have returned their humanity with... oh, you know, summat...
So, just......did anyone else watch? Whatcha think?
