Publicity

In the picture that's been taken for some ridiculous, unknown reason by a marketing company that Cowley's had his eye on for months, Bodie is standing in the back row, and Doyle is sitting just below him, on the bench. Jax is to his right, and Marks the other side of Bodie, and they're surrounded by agents in various shades of tough and pleasant and jovial.

Some publicity, they're all wearing their holsters.

Four snips and the world is different, and Doyle keeps the picture in a book in his bedside cabinet.

Bodie's the only one who knows it's there.

I always loved that picture, and you've put a fab slant on it. 'Welcome to CI5 HQ...Meet The Agents'...lol Great stuff.

Heeeee! Can you just imagine it? There'd be villains all over the country with it tacked to their walls, on the lookout for anyone deep undercover - putting crosses over the ones they'd taken down... eep!

Ooh, I like this one! Actually, I love all of them. You've been really busy today!

I love the way your imagination has worked on the picture in this icon, so inventive. And then to capture a whole story in just 100 words is blooming awesome. I'm in awe of anyone who can write a drabble, it takes me 100 words just to have someone get out of bed in the morning. I can't imagine being able to convey so much so effectively in such a short piece.

Ha, not too smart, do you think? Cowley had a formal picture taken? LOL! Maybe he wanted a momento of his lads. Still, the fact that Doyle kept the picture of just he and Bodie. And Bodie's okay with him having it.

Thanks!

Hee - I have been so happily busy with drabbles, and they've just been so cheering it's perfect!

I really like drabbles as a form - it's kind of like writing poetry, only of course not... But I love being able to concentrate more on the rhythm of the words, and fitting them to each other... *g*

Hee - erm, thanks?!*pats your stomach carefully* *vbg* (Actually that's just the sort of thing you want a drabble to do, so this makes me very happy - thank you!)

Lol - I was thinking that he did it more as part of an investigation of the marketing company, never intended for actual use! Try getting that across in 100 words, though! *g*

But yeah... the lads have got the photo... *vbg*

Hee - thank you! I'm all... just gosh, thank you. *g*

(And is it bad to say that your last sentence makes me think of that old Ferrerro Rocher advert - something about the rhythm of it, I think, cos actually the words aren't the same!)

Lol - yeah, drabbles are often not-so-happy I guess! You've got to get some tension in there to make it interesting, and a hundred words isn't much to try and resolve that... *g* But yeay, a happy one! Glad you liked it!
