Hurrah! Work finished! Long day of work! Volunteering/Job3-ing this morning, and realised that cos I'd been off all over Christmas and that the payroll-month ended halfway through the month, that I needed to stay longer, not rush off quickly... so I did what felt like a full day's work, and got home around 3-ish. Naturally I wasn't quite ready to start Job 1 yet, but I did eventually, and now it's finished - and it's the weekend! Also, Job 1 turns out to be an interesting one (architecture!), decently-written, so bonus. *g* And I got to re-watching Firefly, feeling a bit science-fiction-y after Star Wars, and i managed to squeeze in two eps today. And garlic bread. And my eye-headache that's been bugging me for the last two or three days has gone - yeay!

The only downside with all of that was that I wasn't mad-pleased with any of my tree photos, but I did take some. Can't choose one, so have several. *g*

(Ack! Sorry anyone who spotted that, I did not hit post, my laptop/fumbly fingers decided to do it for me before I was ready...)

And now I am sleeeeeepy, and am going to go to bed with my current Pros-read - Island Innocents by Glen Fiddich - possibly my third favourite Pros story of all time... *happy sigh*

I love the last photo!!! The silent sentinel, reaching up to the sky....
Hurrah! for the weekend (and the prospect of more tree photos. :-)

I like that wee tree - it's often got cars all clustered about it, cos that's where they park for the livery, but when it's all peaceful and on its own it's rather nice... *g*

Hooray the weekend! And there'll definitely be more tree photos - though right now I can think of nothing nicer than just curling up and reading the weekend away... *g* But I'll no doubt think differently tomorrow!

Ooooh, that first one is EXACTLY what I was looking for for my picspam the other day! Lovely.

Looking forward to this week's theme! Trees are one of my favorite subjects for photos!
(Maybe one of the next themes could be clouds?)

Rats that I was too late - but I'm glad you like it! *g* Even on just an ordinary day, all those bare branches are rather lovely!

Trees are a nice subject for photos, aren't they! That said, I've woken up to rain, which means that finding trees is going to be mucky! Maybe it'll stop later... or maybe I'll summon the energy to go for a drive... *g*

And oooh, clouds - you know they're one of my favourite things! So clouds will be my third theme for the year - thank you! *g*

Ooh, very atmospheric. I especially like the one of the trunk. The house hidden way back behind the trees is intriguing, too.

Sorry you weren't pleased with your photos... I think they're excellent. Very 'bare wintery trees in England' sort of thing and that trunk is amazing. Enjoying your photos. :-)

I like the first one especially - I love avenues of trees. I like the bark one too. Keep going - I love tree photos!

Thank you! I rather liked the trunk - it made me think that there might be a giant elephant at the top of that leg (er... leg, not trunk... *g*) The house is the one I volunteer in. *g* And work in, now!

Well thank you! I think they look better when they're not in the mess of other ones that I didn't like as much! I do like bare winter trees very much, and I didn't quite think I had anything that framed them nicely enough, but I'm glad they worked for you. *g*

Oh, lovely photos! If I had to pick, I think it would be the trunk. That grown-around oval, at the bottom? That's the door, see, and behind it lives the fairy who guards the tree avenue *bg*.

I love trees - well-done [livejournal.com profile] jessebee for the theme! The tree trunk picture makes me think of a huge-enormous elephant's leg, somehow... I really liked it, so I'm glad you did!

Lovely, lovely pics!

Could it be that the challenge should say 366 Photo project 2016?

I like avenues of trees too - I didn't think the framing was quite right on these, I wanted more! But I'm glad they worked for you! A whole week's worth to come... *g*

Sounds like the trunk is working as the favourite! *g* I kind of wanted to post the other side too, but none of the colours came out properly - it was green with moss, the colour of your icon (don't change icons... *g*) And oooh, yes, that is definitely the door to the fairy-guardian, and... and... *vbg*

It's a leap year! I hadn't realised! Why does no one ever say these things at the beginning of the year...? Well, except you. *g* *goes to edit*

And thank you! *g*

No problem!
Somebody said on 1st January that we had still 365 days to go, that was my clue. But it took me several fays to connect your challenge and that fact. *g*

Since trees are so very popular, you could make this the wintery tree week, another one with spring trees, summer trees, autumn trees....
And stones? I love pics of stones. Stones by the sea. And then waves. And wind. Sand. Mud, puddles.... oooh, if my photos weren't just boring with the occasional good one in between 1000s ....

Hee - glad I'm not the only slow one! *g*

I like the idea of four seasons of trees... And okay - stones! I've got clouds next, but then it shall be stones! And I think that's probably as many prompts as I can remember for so long at once, so I shall come back and ask for more prompts then... I love all your ideas! *g*

And you know - my photos are the occasional non-boring one amongst hundreds, just like that - so I think you should give it a go too!
