So, is it really really sad that I was rushing and rushing so that I wouldn't miss Pros at 9pm? Yeah okay, I know it was, but still - far more exciting than just thinking ho-hum, dvd on sometime-now-ish-whenever-I-fancy... Yeah. I think I shall retain the stoopidness for next week too.

Yeay, Female Factor! With the bit at the beginning where Cowley talks about his experts from the army, the police, from all the services! *g*

I wish I could think that government minister was being ridiculously gullible, but... oh, it's so real life! D'you remember the scandals that the Tories were always in trouble for?

Ah, Ann Seaford... just another girl coming home after a long day at work... And whatsisname in that dreadful checked jacket - aren't we glad they're less common in the future...

Oh... Bodie dancing! Lifts her up without any effort... and Doyle so civilised playing backgammon! I mean, are they elegance personified or what?

But best of all, the look in Bodie's eyes as he watches Doyle on the phone - he's worried, isn't he, even if he does go back to kissing that bint girl. He was... okay, once Doyle had hung up, until it turned out that Doyle was upset about something...

The lads in their scruffy djs... Bodie all attentive to Doyle's needs... *vbg* Does Doyle not realise it yet, or does he expect it I wonder? He takes advantage to get Bodie to take care of the girls...

Is Doyle's suit the same one he wore in The Rack? Looks remarkably like it! Fic is right, he does only have one... *g*

Doyle doesn't know who Croesus was? Oh, they're just gorgeous together here - how easily does Doyle climb up that wall to the window? And ooh, this is the second ep that people saw - so they saw the lads together like this practically straight away, with the chemistry and all! Perfect - and no wonder they were so quickly slashed! The smiles between them! *v vbg*

Aww - sitting side by side, tiredly, going over the papers... My word but they just... I mean, how gorgeous do they look in this? Just... gobsmackingly! (Yeah, don't you wish I would...) Ooh, Doyle's got his hips canted!

Now they've both been home to change and shave. What is Bodie wearing?! One of those jackets we're glad aren't around any more.....

Bodie's very down on hookers... Doyle is very not - interesting. Bodie's pushing though, not letting Doyle cow him (though he did let the Cow cow him... oh, you know I had to say it!)

Stuff with the stoopid Minister... hmmn, let's see - if his party isn't in power, and it's 1977, then... he is a Tory, right? Cos it was Labour until Thatcher won...

Ooh - Doyle - changed again! Is it tomorrow? Thank god Bodie has too... Hmmn, it's the afternoon though... Maybe they had to go home and get changed for some reason. Or maybe they just went home for some reason and got changed... Gosh, that woman is happy to receive fancy cigarettes. Ooh, there's that music again! *g* Hmmn - what does Bodie say to her? Must look that up later...

And there's our Bodie, having a good time without spilling his beer... damned Australians, always causing trouble... *g* Okay, Doyle does look good in black. People always say that Bodie does (and he does) but I do think Doyle does as well... ouch, that doesn't look like a very nice hold on Paula's face though.

Hee - "You're costing me a fortune" says Bodie - but is he talking just about change for the phone? I think there's more to it than that... *g*

Oh, I love drunk Doyle - "D'you give stamps?" That laugh... bliss... It's a very Sid James laugh, innit? And now he's all competent, overpowering Wences, and - ooh, the look he gives the girl as he kisses her cheek. And there's Bodie waiting patiently for him outside... bless.

Spoiled brat girl-y... Ah, and Betty being ditzy again - "Oooh," she says, "Address, lots of them..." Jeans and cheesecloth blouse - not the usual skirt and blouse you read about her wearing in fic. Bit of a one I think, our Betty.

Ah, and Doyle's got the pimp - "No, we're worse, much worse," says Cowley, of CI5. And there's Doyle being menacing, Bodie too, behind Wences... ooh, I do like that shot of him - you can just see his shirt stretching up from where it's tucked in at his trousers... Ooh, and Doyle's just found out it was Ann Seaford's daughter - he's even less impressed with Wences now, methinks...

The strangely-accented men gloating... oh gawd, another badly checked jacket! And smashing the glasses after the toast, just in case we weren't sure where they were supposed to be from.

My god but the sun set quickly on Simon and Sarah as they drove to Uncle Sam's... you'd think they might have stopped on the way, only Sarah was so desperate... So, a fast-setting sun it must have been. Well, unless Uncle Sam and the Strangely-Accented-Men live in Scotland perhaps... Oh dear, bad news for Simon. One less checked jacket in the world though, I guess. And there goes Sarah out the window.

Ah Bodie in brown, Doyle in that blue t-shirt, his holster tight across his...

Ooh, it's morning! What in the world is going on with the time?! I've not really noticed before - bad, bad continuity crew!

Oh, there they go, the lads running... Doyle's shoes are red! And Doyle looks to Bodie for the lead... Up the stairs, competent and careful - Bodie being all flexible too, ooh er... Doyle out the window, Bodie over the furniture - yeay! And wacka-wacka Pros-y music - heeee!

Sarah's ever so gurn-ey isn't she. Her and David Tennant - separated at birth? *g*

Ooh - Doyle! Shot! "Ray, you alright?" But our Doyle is so brave - sends him off to get the girl... Bodie's peeved - "There's a better man back there!" And Doyle giggling - and a faint! His first Pros faint - yeay! (I know, I'm horrid and mean, but he does it so... he's just all lying there, sort of open and vulnerable... good job Bodie'll be around to... take care of him... *g*)

And another Tory minister forced to resign through ill health... Mind you, spending more time with the family became very popular under Thatcher's reign...

And aw - flowers on Ann Seaford's grave - ooh, born in 1945, nice to see an "older woman" shown up as glamorous and sexy. Well. I suppose she would have been 32 then mind, so... well you know what I mean though!

Hee - "... or you could pretend you got it doing something really dangerous..."

But... but it's over! And I have to wait a whole week for the next one... *g* Yeah, okay, but doesn't the idea of the anticipation make it feel that much sweeter? Hmmn, what came next anyway... Ooh, Old Dog With New Tricks (yeay The Hatstand).

Well. Suppose I'd better turn it off then... *sniffs sadly* Be bedtime soon, have to get ready for school... no, wait... *g*

Ooh - WWII thingie on channel... three? And half-naked slaves on channel four - interesting night on tv! Hmmn - Foyle's War... shame it's on at the same time as Pros!

Right. *presses off switch*
