Friday (yesterday cos actually I was full of melted-head and had to turn off quick after finally finishing work) was violet day, which I thought was just going to be pansies, but then I got to Job 2 and no one was there to let me in, so I went for a wee explore down a path I'd never been before... *g*

When I got there, the sky was sort of violet (in the photo, to my eyes, not grey! violet! especially the second "autocorrected" one. And look, there was a halo around the sun!

The drive was looking rather gloriously brilliant pink, with magnolias erm... big flowers, and little droppy-flowers too...

I discovered the ice house! Not only that, but as I got close, thinking I'd flash my camera through the bars to see what was down there, a light came on, and revealed all - the deepest ice house I've ever seen! As it hove into view it just seemed deeper and deeper, and it came to a point, like a giant brick ice cream cone... *g* I added my hand to the railings in case it gave some idea of scale, but it doesn't really. Imagine falling in there when it was full of ice...!

The heliotrope, hiding away under the trees, was violet! The glorious red-leafed tree was not violet-leafed, by any means... *g*

Is a haze of bluebells violet? Close up I'd perhaps say indigo, but distantly, in a haze...

And then I couldn't resist the faraway tree, or the blissful bluebell bench.. *g*

And that's the end of the rainbow...
