Sunday, 2 February 2014 10:34 pm...even if they do involve work. *g* Had an email from my bro last night, who pointed out that it was 41C in Melbourne today, and it suddenly struck me - why was I planning to go back today? I was all free and escaped and had a spare pair of knickers in me bag, so... so I booked into my bed here at Apollo Bay YHA for another night. There followed a lazy breakfast, with an apple custard muffin and two cups of coffee, the writing of lots of postcards and some reading, then a wander and a paddle on the beach...

Thursday, 30 January 2014 12:18 am...I've been paddling in the sea.
There's been no chance to post for what feels like yeeeeeears (and at this point anyone out there probably cares less what I'm up to, even assuming anyone remembers who I am, but hey-ho, I shall post anyway!) but I've finally escaped the surly bonds of family and struck out along the Great Ocean Road, where the temperatures are still in the 20s (C!) - lovely. And just perfect for paddling on a beach that I last paddled when I was... well, not even a teenager, I don't think. Anyway, it's all so much better... A few bits and bobs from today...

Must get myself to bed, cos I've been a good girl doing my work (but I'm doing it in a YHA near the beach... *g*) and now my eyes are melting. I have every intention of posting all the things I haven't posted yet. Maybe themed. Maybe I'll go with themes, this time... *g* And trying to post to lj again in general, even if it's a single picture at a time... I paid for my account again, I must use it!
In the meantime, below is evidence that I did try to post...
