In other news, I did begin packing up my room today, but all that seems to have happened is that I have lots of books in bags, and everything is a mess. It doesn't actually seem to be emptier as such... aaargh! I'm trying to be very organised, so that when I move into a room with no bed or furniture (I figured I'd better hang on for a month and make sure that it's all working out before I go buying furniture to fit into a particular room) I will have everything in very specific bags that can be put neatly in the nearly-right places (and rearranged so I can work out where the furniture should go) Which means I'll just have the stuff I need (and the books I want - same thing *g*) and everything else will either have been chucked, or will be in my storage. My new storage. *sighs*
In other other news, I might have gone for a final drive to Ely to visit my favourite bookshop there one last time. And, you know, to buy whatever Lord John Grey books they might have - two, as it turned out. *g* And I picked up one of the new Outlander novels and managed to completely spoiler myself about Grey, via a blurb that left me spluttering - what-what-what?! I am going to have to look those books out of my storage and start The Big Re-Read... annoyingly they weren't in any of the book boxes that I could reach into, when I stopped by earlier today.
Where did today go? And how did I forget to take tomorrow off, since it's the Bank Holiday? I suppose because I'm taking the entire week after off, but... I must remember to take bank holidays off work! It's nice to join in...
