Oh, I have some of those I guess - some favourites that many people love, but also fics many other people adore but which just aren't my cuppa! *g*
I'm eternally glad that there's room for different tastes, and that we all mostly share the overall enthusiasm even when we don't share the same preferences *g*

Oh yeah. Completely agree with you :) Fiction is not an exact science and there's always room for different things, catering for different moods and tastes. All in all, however, I tend to prefer fics that are told from one lad's POV, either in the whole fic, or alternating POVs one chapter or story section to the next. And I love both first person or third person narration. But I'm not much into omniscient narrator stories, unless there's a good stylistic reason for it (humour etc.)

Ooo - that's really interesting - I struggle with first person narration. I much prefer third or omniscient. Most of the fic I write is omniscient or a variant of third.
