Happy 2 - only tomorrow to go until I have a week's holiday! I don't have anything big planned, because I was supposed to be in Australia and then part of the reason I wasn't was that I needed a new job, but there's Salisbury, and a visitor and a trip up north (which I've not at all planned for yet!) to look forward to. Perhaps a few lazy days just trying to straighten things out here. It'll be the last time off before I move house and job and everyone there needs to be all present and correct on new-baby-alert for a few months, so here's hoping it's properly relaxing. Oh and hey, I just thought - I should be able to get a few runs in!
Happy 3 - realising I actually had nothing I had to do when I got home tonight. Dinner was made and just needed cooking, decisions were made and so I could take a break from stressing over them... So I watched a few eps of Buffy, knitted a few rows of my jacket project, and here I am.
How're you today?

Date: Friday, 27 October 2017 08:10 am (UTC)Wishing you a happy staycation and, in case you hadn't seen, when you are in Salisbury I'm sure you would enjoy: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-41267378
Hoping everything work-related works out well for you and isn't too disruptive for the little people, especially the youngest who sounds like she will turn out a much nicer human being than the others in her family; especially with your influence!
Happy to stay anon

Date: Saturday, 28 October 2017 09:47 pm (UTC)And oh bliss - a week of living my life rather than someone else's! Must admit that's a drawback of nannying...

Date: Saturday, 28 October 2017 07:10 am (UTC)Your first picture is lovely. There's so much space in it. The grass seems to go on forever, the trees are really little because they're so far away, and the sky is so big and painted with interesting clouds. And there are A's favourite cows! There really is something very special about living in the countryside. :-)
Enjoy your week off! (And how is your jacket project going?)
