Happy things today:
- for a couple of hours in the morning both girls were at school, and so I dived into sorting out a box of papers I've been looking sideways at for ages. It was full of old school stuff, and uni stuff, and diaries and stuff, so bonus happy for nostalgia! (Of course having sorted out what was in there, all I know now is that I can't throw any of it away...)

- I was working an extra long day today (11.5 hours) but both girls were on pretty good form, and it was much more painless than expected, which was definitely a happy!

- I wore an old dress that I bought when it almost fitted, thinking "I only need to lose a little bit of weight and then it'll be perfect" and then had in my wardrobe waiting for a good few years - and it fit perfectly. *g* Also wore new tights that were tall enough for my legs! and didn't fall down all the time, and my new boots, which were comfortable with the tights (I stupidly bought them when I was wearing thinnish socks...) So happy clothes!

How're you doing this week? *g*

Isn't it brilliant when stuff you saved for when you lose weight (usually a 'haha' thing) actually turns out to fit? Well done.

I wanted to ask when you're moving back to Somerset and whereabouts you'll be. Am I right in thinking you might be near Taunton? Or did I dream that? Would be so fab to see you in the new year.

We're doing fine... P's still hobbling about a bit on a stick ( and sometimes without it now) but is pretty much recovered and not needing nurse-maiding quite so much. *g* I can now read again and do my jigsaws. (3,000 piece one currently on the go in the conservatory *g*.)

Good luck on your sorting. Sure you can't get rid of anything? With your new place being not quite as big, it might help. I guess because I'm in a clearing out mode, I want everyone else to be. *g*

And yea for being able to get into clothes you hadn't been able to. It's a great feeling, isn't it?

Happy clothes that are comfortable and you know they look good are definitely a happy :-) I chucked a lot of old uni stuff when my mum died and we had to clear the house, and I rather regret not keeping a bit more of it now - so I'm sure you're right about not-chucking! Even though paper is bulky and heavy which is such a pain.
