Having gone to bed with the chaos of packing (and all the chaos of having bought a wardrobe and brought it home from Ikea by myself, ready to put together in Somerset), I woke up to the magic of this view out the window...

And it was magic, because it made me think ooooh! instead of right-better-get-on-with-packing. *g* Also, it made me think how glad I was that I'd brought a few more boxes in from the shed last night - and not waited until today for the Ikea trip. We'd been forecast snow and/or rain, and I was sure I'd end up disappointed and it would just rain, but... wheeeee!

Today is staying cosy inside packing. With probable forays further into this...

I'm also glad I nipped outside before the family were up, because Mrs has just gone off to work and now there are tyre marks - though it's still coming down, so maybe not for long.

Just - yeay! Does everyone else have snow? Am I just the only person who's still like a six year old about it? *g* I don't care, more fun for me that way - but I hope you're having fun too!

We had snow on Friday, but only a couple of centimetres - nothing like the amount you have.
You're not the only person like a 6 year-old around snow, though. I love it too, especially when it comes down in a thick blanket.

Good luck with the packing!

I think this will turn to rain and melt pretty quickly later today, but it's such a gorgeous way to wake up to the day! *g* And my new place only has rain forecast today, so I'm glad I got some snow before moving to more southerly climes!

Yeay for being six! *g*

And thank you! Today's the big packing day...

Friday and yesterday we had snow, which meant it was falling down in big flakes. And I love it! Snow always brighten my mood because everything is clean and silent! I love it! And I love it to walk as the first one in fresh fallend snow!

Have a happy time. Best wishes from one six year old to the other. :-)

Did you snow stay, or did it warm up and melt away? I think ours is supposed to do that which will be sad, but I suppose more practical for getting the girls to and from school tomorrow!

And yes! Yes to everything about snow - that's just what I love too. *g* Snow seems to make everything more peaceful. *sighs happily*

And now I've put on some Christmas music and I'm about to carry on packing, so it's extra nice to have the snow outside when I look up at the windows. Yeay for six year olds! *vbg*

At the moment it is cold enough and the snow stays put. *g* But I think in the next days it will melt.

Oh, and I added the clues two and three to ci5hq. :-)

Yeay for your [livejournal.com profile] ci5hq guess-the-rec - I'm fairly sure I've guessed it correctly now, and it's a good one. *g*

Yeay for snow staying put for a few days too (especially since its partly over the weekend *g*)! Ours is already starting to fall off my car and the trees - like unwrapping them... *g*

And now the snow is melting, It doesn't rain, but the temperature got up to 3 degrease and that is to much for snow. But when I went to the Christmasmarket it was snowing very hard and all the buses in my hometown were stopped.

Lovely pictures! I was very pleasantly surprised to wake up to snow, but the view wasn't nearly as charming as yours!

Thank you! Its definitely more charming when it snows in the country than in the city (though that has charms from the right angles too *g*), and I must admit to taking that for granted sometimes. But it is charming! *g*

Mind you - with your view, London under a blanket of snow must surely be charming!

SNOW! And how beautiful it looks!
It was just grey and brown outside this morning, but it snowed ever since we cleaned the bunny hutch, and there is even snow inside their fence, in the arbor!
But they went back inside their hutch, where it is nice and dark and cosy full with fresh straw and hay.
Sometimes I think they are mad at us for rearranging everything, because they are pretty busy gnawing and pushing the stalks around when we are ready.

Happy packing to you! And may the snow be with you!

Wheee - snow! *g* I was so so pleased when I opened my blind!

And you have snow too now, hurrah! Hopefully the bunnies will forgive your constant interfering - I bet they appreciate the fresh carrot tops and things that come their way, too! They can't be mad for long, right...? *g*

And may the snow be with you!
Heeee! I love it! *g*

And thank you!

Such a lovely view! But staying inside is the best way to enjoy it. *g* Good day for packing.

We've been getting snow, a few inches Friday, and then another few inches yesterday. More expected today. It's supposed to continue that way for at least another week, so it looks as if we're going to have a White Christmas. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm a very jealous six year old! I love snow and unfortunately, when I got married we moved from a place that got over 100 inches of snow a year (and a few years back had over 70 inches in one weekend!) to a place that only gets about 20 inches a year. And I usually have to wait until late January or even February for that. :-(

Thank you for sharing your morning pics - they bring back some warm and wonderful memories!

Best of luck with your packing and move.

Snow is beautiful and I'd like to play in it for a while, but rather not drive, be freezing and all that jazz. Pretty pictures!

It's tending towards slush here now, but still proper snow in most patches :-) - lovely, though I wasn't out in it for very long! *g*

happy snow!

We had a few brief flurries in Cardiff, but it was mostly just sleet and rain in these parts - too wet, too coastal.

Yes! I see what you mean! I'm a six-year-old around snow too... especially as I don't see it that often... Great pics!

I love snow when I don't have to go out in it. We've had a few light snowfalls so far and it's been beautiful.

Glad the packing is going well and I hope the move goes smoothly.
