It's ticking away very busily in the background, and is a wee bit slower than usual, but... relief! Now I just have to figure out what to do about those updates - but first I think I'm going to go and see whether the dragons are still out... no, really. Well, this is Glastonbury. *g*

I was too late to reply to your earlier post.

I make sure to set a restore point manually, before doing something drastic, and also have the auto restore points turned on, so windows sets one up here and there.

Has saved me several times!

I've never had to deal with restore points before, though I know Windows creates them now and then cos it sometimes lets me know... *g* I've purposefully gone in and made one with the wireless working now though, just in case! Hurrah for my wifi! I still have to work out what to do about the updates so it doesn't just happen again, but... well, it's working right now! *g*

And yeay - I really needed some lads!

We frequently have to have our cars valet parked at work because the parking lots are too small for the amount of staff and visitors at the hospital, particularly as they are opening a whole new building on Tuesday! Anyway, I have to go pick up my keys from security when I leave. I told the woman--"those are mine." pointing to the keychain with Bodie and Doyle wearing their tuxes hanging off the main fob. She laughed, "I was just saying how cute they were to my co-worker." I smiled and walked away admiring them. Didn't want to tell her they are from a TV show decades before she was born!

So glad that you were able to get the wireless to behave again, troubleshooting is so not fun, especially when you have to have it working. Great job getting it to behave again.
