I managed a brief walk yesterday, to a small bush reserve just down the road (in the middle of the city)I was rather fascinated by these restrictions/instructions all together!

Loved this tree.

Spring flowers - the white ones turned out to be some kind of wild garlic (at least the leaves smelled faintly like garlic). The yellow bells are tiny...

I stopped by the pond and just listened for a while. There were birds, and the wind shusshing through gum trees, and the very occasional sounds of a city......it was lovely and peaceful! (If you'd like to hear it, you can go here - well, this is just the other side of the path I stood on when I made that recording. And down a little bit. *g*)

A real Australian tree or two. *g*
