Needing the lads!

It's been one of those weeks - and not likely to end for a while - to the point that I haven't even been able to play Pros Read-a-long for the last two chapters of the story. Waaah! Job 3 meeting in Cambridge at the weekend, combined with going a day early to take part in the final part of a lifestyle study which unexpectedly resulted in me being hooked up with various monitors for a week (only unexpected cos I forgot that was part of it, not cos of anything bad!), combined with a 5.50am fire alarm at the hotel after not sleeping well, combined with catching a cold on the way back from Cambs., combined with... well, the usual work, and the usual overly-lengthy pause waiting for someone else so that Job 3 can begin properly, and... and... and... and never mind last sodding Thursday, and the frankly parlous state of the world...

I need lads. I'm sure we all need lads... Picspam lads. And then I must find some way to get back some time for myself and the lads, and hope that you will join me... *g*

The lads really do make lovely pictures, don't they. *g*

And thank you! What a nice thing to tell someone! I really really have to make the time, because I miss you guys when I'm away, too!

At least, in re last Thursday and the parlous state of things, there's been a significant upswing in Green votes across the EU as a whole (especially in Germany!) :-) And in the UK, despite everything, at least the actual total for solid remain parties, taken together, is significantly higher than it is for the ultra-brexit parties. Hey, I'll take my optimism where I can get it *g*

Green votes are good, as long as they're taking away from nasty parties rather than parties that also have better interests at heart! And yes that the remain vote was stronger than the leave vote - now we can only hope that something comes of that... but of course that's exactly why the leavers are afraid of a second referendum... But hope, hope, hope has to come from somewhere, it's true!

Green votes are in any case good! ;-)

As long as they're not splitting the vote in such a way that a truly obnoxious party is elected because they end up with the most votes...
