Two posts today, because I'm catching up...

Poetry for October
And the sun took a step back,
the leaves lulled themselves to sleep,
And Autumn was awakened.

- Raquel Franco

Pics for October
I went for a walk today, because the sky was blue and the sun was just warm enough and the air was just cool enough, and a friend said she'd show me some old Somerset...

And then I found that it was just cool enough to actually need this to happen tonight...

Prosfic for October
Battles Long Ago
by Rhiannon
Autumn in Scotland wasn't noted for clear fine days and how long this spell would last was anyone's guess...
What is Bodie doing in Scotland? And painting of all things? This must be an AU... mustn't it?

Lads for October
Again, something a bit autumnal about this one...

And tomorrow - tomorrow I'm actually on holiday for a few days, and headed up north to spend some time with my bro and his family, over from down under. I suspect there may be more autumn around up there... *g*

What a lovely post to wake up to! Your place looks so cosy and welcoming! And your pictures and travels always make me realise how little I know of England,

Thank you! I'm afraid it's not quite as cosy as it looks - the heat just leaks out, and I'm not looking forward to winter (or the electricity bills...) But the fire does look cosy! *g*

I think I've been missing travelling lately. I really wanted to have some time at home, but... oh, I do like to explore!

Isn't it wonderful that autumn has finally peaked its head out? I'm loving the cooler weather, though I could do with a break from the rain.

And lovely pic of the Lads, though that old guy could step out between them. *g*

It is! Although there is alot of rain in my very near future as well...

Lol for that old guy - I so rarely post pics that include Cowley, poor old chap! *g*

Safe and happy travels!

Hee! *vbg*

And thank you! I'm replying to this as almost asleep from those travels - more sense tomorrow, I hope! *g*
