3rd October - a month of autumn to Halloween

Hello from Wales! Noswaith dda! I drove straight through from Somerset - over six hours through gorgeous countryside that started out under cloudy skies, was gradually drenched in more and more rain, paused around Blaenau Ffestiniog to swirl and drip the towers of slate with cloud and mist, and cleared up again as I finally came into Llandudno. Of course it's now absolutely tipping it down with rain, as forecast - but hopefully there'll be some clear patches tomorrow.

As much as I love rain, driving and holidays it shouldn't ... good you got there alright!

Oh, and Dancing in the Rain - I always think of that as a very sad fic, and I'm not sure I like it, but I can't remember exactly - so I will go and read it again, and remember why... Thank you!

Wales is beautiful. Where are you going ? Snowdonia, Conwy and Aberystwyth are some of my favourit places in the UK. Hope the rain will stop. Have a nice time in Wales :-)

It is beautiful! I'm not far from Conwy - staying in Llandudno - and tomorrow we'll be down near Aberystwyth, and on Monday I'm going to drive through Snowdonia on my way home again... *g* The rain stopped today too - hurrah!

I'd heard that about Wales, and it was definitely true for us! While in and about Bridgend it rained every day (and even into Oswestry.) But the moment we started east, it cleared! Hope you eventually have some sunny weather.

Wales is definitely wetter than where I live! So often I've driven over the bridge from sunshine into clouds and then rain! But actually the sun came out for us today, and it was fab.
