I decided to try a shortcut home from the supermarket today...

...and I surprised a family of pheasants on the way! I know you can't really see them, because it was through the windscreen, on my phone, and getting dim in the day - plus they'd decided to get out of the way *g* - but you kind of can, in a water-colour-y sort of way... *g*

Thank you! The pheasants were brilliant - almost invisible on the road even, so I'm glad they came out at all in the picture!

There are quite alot of pheasants around here - and before I saw this family I whizzed past two male pheasants actually sitting on a farm gate, which I've never seen before! It wasn't somewhere that I could stop, and they would have jumped down too fast for a photo anyway, but so cool! And then this whole family, with mum and dad and so many babies! *g*

Pheasants! what a lovely surprise.
I really enjoyed the "Professional Touch" - seeing the background images from ITPI (hope I've gotten the right episode! but it seems pretty clear.) The lobby, that blue shirt, the white cardigan... But there shouldn't be all those other men lounging around in that bedroom! That's sacred ground, that! Home of so many scenes...
