Monday
The most glorious day. Mother Earth reminding us that really the world is beautiful and that one day it will be okay again...


It was actually warm enough to sit outside (and obviously read *g*) for lunch, and that I had a companion for lunch made me happy too. *g* I actually got so warm sitting in the sun that I had to go inside for a bit! Tried to work out there for a while too, but it's really too bright for my screen... But such a gorgeous day!

I really meant everything! It’s spring and warm outside, the flashmob, and I’m doing fine: I actually went for a wonderful! ride in my car today, I didn’t meet anyone so no spreading of the plague in sight, I even exceeded the speed limits... 🤫😜

Do you know, I never even thought of that - flashmobs are of course a nostalgic thing of the past now... unless maybe you could have a socially-distanced one... though no one'd be around to see it... Maybe not... :(

I'm okay--a few sneezes and it's annoying that I've had only four days off since January 3rd--but I envy you your spring, flowering trees and outside-lunch weather. How lovely that your village is so full of helpful and giving people. For all the evidence of panic in my city (no toilet paper in stores) the people I'm actually talking to seem to be cheerful and determined to have as ordinary a life as is safe and possible. So I feel lucky.

Our outside lunch weather lasted a single day, sadly, and yesterday was all clouds and today I woke up to see it had rained. Sighs...

There's no tp here either - presumably the shops are stocking up and it's vanishing as fast as it gets here... Glad to hear that you're in a sensible city, at least!
